Privacy policy

What we collect

We collect only what we need for the app to work:

• Account data from Telegram when you sign in — your Telegram ID, name, username, language, and profile photo. We use this to create and secure your account.
• Learning data you create — your card sets, study sessions, review history, goals, and preferences such as theme and language.
• AI provider keys, if you add your own. They are encrypted before we store them (see "AI features").
• Usage analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies — see "Analytics".
• Technical data your device sends automatically, such as IP address and browser type, used to deliver the app and keep it secure.

How we use your data

• To run the app — sign you in, save your sets and progress, and sync across your devices.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To understand how the app is used and improve it, where you have allowed analytics.
• To respond to your requests and support messages.

We do not use your learning content to train our own models, and we do not sell your data.

Analytics

Analytics are off by default. We use them only after you accept analytics cookies, and you can change your choice at any time in cookie settings.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the app is used — for example which features are opened and where people get stuck. Where you have signed in, we attach a pseudonymous identifier so that your activity can be connected across the different devices and sessions you use. This identifier is derived from your account and does not contain your name, email, or other directly identifying details.

If you arrive from a marketing link, we may record which campaign or source brought you, so we can see which channels work. We do not run advertising and do not share analytics data for ad targeting.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of cookies and similar local storage. Necessary ones keep you signed in and remember your theme, language, and your cookie choice — these are always on because the app cannot work without them.

Analytics cookies (set by Google Analytics) are optional and off until you accept them. If you later reject them, we remove them.

AI features (your own key)

AI card generation works on your own provider key (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). We add no markup. Your key is encrypted before it is stored, and is used only to make requests on your behalf.

When you generate cards, the text you provide is sent to the AI provider you chose. That provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. Please review your provider’s policy before sending sensitive content.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the services we need to run the app, and only for that purpose:

• Telegram — the platform you sign in through, which provides your account details.
• Google Analytics — usage analytics, only with your consent.
• The AI provider you choose — receives the content you send for card generation.
• Our hosting provider — stores the data needed to run the service.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account exists. Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in Google Analytics. When you delete your account, or ask us to delete your data, we remove it, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you;
• correct data that is wrong;
• delete your data;
• withdraw consent, such as for analytics, at any time;
• receive a copy of your data in a portable form.

To exercise any of these, contact us at [email protected]. You can withdraw analytics consent yourself at any time in cookie settings.

Children

The app is not directed to children under the age required in your country to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has given us data without the proper consent, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we will give clear notice in the app.
